Maybe you want to write a romance book. Those are always popular. Boy meets girl, boy meets boy, girl meets alien life form she believed to be human. Love knows no bounds

Well I’ve got 5 solid romantic writing prompts for you, some a bit bizarre, some probably a bit cliche.

Write a story about a road trip between two old friends that turns into something more.

A duo of very inept wingmen.

You’re at a party when you spot a ex. Quick, you urgently have to pretend to be dating the nearest person, who happens to be very attractive.

In biblical times, men had many wives and most marriages were arranged. Use time travel to develop a story that depicts how love, romance, and marriage have changed throughout the centuries.

They say love is blind, and it makes people do strange things. Write about a character who is blinded by love or who does strange or dangerous things for the object of his or her desire.
